Wild Geese Qigong with Dr. Sonia
4 week workshops @ PGSF
Qigong, based on ancient Chinese philosophy, is a system of working
with breath and movement. Dr. Sonia, a Qigong certified expert and
integrative clinical nutritionist, will direct you through 21 healing
Qigong forms that gently spell out toxins while strengthening your
immune system. These movements ease the chronic effects of a
busy life by cleansing your mind and spirit with a gentle yet powerful
combination of tai chi stretches and breathing movements.
$120 members/ $140 for non-members for the 4 week series.
(single session in a series is $35 members/$40 for non-members)
Series 1: Mondays 4:30-6pm– 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20
Series 2: Wednesdays 4:30-6pm – 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22
Series 3: Mondays 6:30-7:45am– 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20
Series 4: Wednesdays 6:30-7:45am– 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22

Power 10 – AcroYoga Workshop
Sunday, March 11th - 2-4pm @ PGSF
Drawing from their years of rowing crew, Ariel and Liz of the YogaSlackers bring to you the “Power 10.” While rowing, when you are neck-in-neck with another boat and need to pass, your coxswain calls for a Power 10, and that’s the time to dig in and give it all you’ve got!
This workshop will encompass a dynamic yoga warm-up followed by a unique conditioning sequence leading into a playful AcroYoga (partnered acrobatics) washing machine!
Ariel has a Doctorate in Pharmacy and certifications in the following Yoga disciplines: Ashtanga, AcroYoga, YogaSlackers, Thai Massage/Pranassage. Liz is a licensed physical therapist, certified massage therapist, and YogaSlacker teacher.
$35 for non-members; $25 for members, or non-members registered before March 1st.
