The Holiday Season is a time to rejoice and spend time with family and friends. Unfortunately, with the holidays comes stress! Attend a special 2 hour Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra class and feel energized and ready to handle what this wonderful time of the year has to offer. It is believed that Yoga Nidra can be equivalent to 4 hours of sleep, however, the true nature of Yoga Nirda goes well beyond deep relaxation.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep. The yoga nidra practice has three distinct aspects – the first of them being a systematic method of inducing complete mental, physical and emotional relaxation while maintaining awareness at deeper levels. The second aspect is that the practice of yoga nidra is a tool used to manifest desires (mental, material or spiritual). This is accomplished through the implanting of an affirmation or sankalpa into the sub conscious mind which controls our existence and how we move through the world. The last aspect of yoga nidra is in understanding that it is a practice that helps us find liberation or moksha in Sanskrit.

Come join me for a deeply relaxing class where you can leave that stressful life behind or put it on hold temporarily. The Nidra session will start with a Restorative Yoga practice to prepare your body for this deep, awakened relaxation. Please note that this is a 2 hour session that includes a 45 minute Nidra practice.
